Resources are divided into five categories. Within each category, resources are divided into subsections based on type of resource such as: standards and statements from professional organizations, sample policies, websites, books, blogs, webinars, articles, etc. The five main categories are:
Collection Development
This is a compilation of resources to support creating a robust, diverse, and inclusive library collection.
Programming & Instruction
This is a collection of resources designed to aid information professionals in creating inclusive learning and community spaces in the library or in the wider community.
Leadership & Management
These resources are designed to support library leaders in effectively promoting equity and inclusion throughout their institution.
Staff Training
While all categories of resources contain training materials, this section includes resources that could be employed at an organizational level.
Building an EDI Foundation
This section is designed to comprise more comprehensive training resources that are more general in nature and can be used to create a foundation of understanding.
Racial Justice
These reading lists and resources for youth, families, and adults is part of a response to existing awareness and events surrounding social justice and racial equity.
