Here are some suggestions on how to learn more about how we work together in Maryland libraries.

• Join the Maryland Library Association (MLA). Check out the Membership Groups and join one if you can. Attend the annual conference.
• Check out the MLA Conversations to learn about the many library staff and groups working in Maryland Libraries.
• Join the marylib listserv so you can see posts from people working in different types of libraries. There are many invitations to join various groups and programs.
• If you are a school library media specialist, join the Maryland Association of School Librarians (MASL).
• If you work in an academic library, join the Association of College and Research Librarians (ACRL).
• If you work in a special library, join the Maryland Chapter of Special Library Association (MDSLA).
• Check out the Merlin website, including the Statewide Training & Events Calendar and Library Lingo pages.
• Attend a SLRC conference. Check out the Maryland Statewide Circulation Conference if you work in a public library.
